The Kalitala Girls Home, essentially a normal boarding school, is located in a rural area 17 kilometres from the city of Calcutta. The complex is made up of two, three storied buildings inside a closed compound with garden, playground and a lake. The home has a capacity for 160 girls and 20 employees.
