Sabera Foundation India was registered as a charitable non profit Society in the Calcutta Register of Societies under the West Bengal Registration Act on May 10th 1999, with the objective of creating the necessary infrastructure to provide future opportunities to the most vulnerable and needy: girls from the streets, red light districts (prostitution), slums and rural areas in particular.


The Foundation provides all the facilities for the girls: a home to live in, formal education, professional training, medical care, nutrition, sports, music teaching, dance, computer training and other activities.
